Award-winning personality Liza Wisner serves her community as an entrepreneur, avid golfer, and education technology advocate. She is a business performance advisor and was a top 3 finalist on the television show, “The Apprentice”, with Donald Trump. Liza grew up in Nairobi, Kenya, and ventured to the United States on a golf scholarship representing Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s golf team.
Liza works directly with the executive leadership of many organizations to help drive their growth and seamless delivery of cross-functional learning and development services. Her responsibilities have included overseeing local industry programs, developmental leadership, and growth strategies as well as the management of employment relationship life-cycles. Liza also leads the development and delivery of technical, industry professional, learning, and leadership training for about 3,000 individuals annually, and cultivating a collaborative environment where communities thrive.
In addition to her work as a business performance advisor, Liza is the principal of Texas Techies and PowerUp, successful organizations, which deliver Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education to economically disadvantaged communities. In the past 3 years she has expanded her organizations to include innovations such as mobile computer labs, computer animation programming competitions, and youth golf and leadership camps.
Liza is married to Denis Wisner and they live in Texas with two sons, Zaleik and Zamar, and their dog Ziggy.
